In our family, we don’t travel for work, we work for travel!
As a child, my family took that big road trip every summer, exploring some part of the country. In July 1972, our station wagon stopped for a day in Orlando, and that is where the magic began. In June 1986, I got engaged to my best friend on a layover returning from Hawaii and Australia, and we celebrated with a day trip to Disneyland. Since that first trip together to Disneyland in 1986, we have traveled to the Disney parks in Florida and California over 30 times, introducing our sons to Disneyland in 1999 and to Walt Disney World in 2005.
Drawn to Disney’s excellent customer service, their love of story, and their immersive activities, we branched out to cruise with them also, enjoying a number of cruises aboard Disney Cruise Lines. Now that our sons are grown, we cherish our family trips even more, but we equally enjoy trips for the two of us, or with friends. Our Disney vacation days together as a family are some of my most precious moments together. We don’t finish one trip without having another one on the books, and every trip brings some new magical adventure.
We love travel of all kinds, but Disney is our first love. Becoming a Magical Vacation Planner for Dream Departures is truly a dream come true for me! I can now share my passion for and love of magical, meaningful vacations with you! I have a wealth of first-hand knowledge and am trained to assist you in every way to turn your vacation dreams into moments of magic and memories of a lifetime, on land and at sea. As a graduate of the College of Disney Knowledge, and an experienced Disney Destinations traveler, I am here to help you through every step of the planning and booking process so that you can focus on the dreams and the magic, and leave all of the details to me to manage for you.
